Georgetown Outdoor Power began in 1964 as Bobby Jennings Small Engine Repair, founded by Bobby Eugene Jennings, a U.S. Army veteran and a man known for his integrity, work ethic, and deep commitment to his community. Bobby believed in doing things the right way, treating people fairly, standing behind his work, and never turning away from a customer who needed help. Those values became the foundation of this business.

For 62 years and counting, the doors have never closed. Through economic downturns, industry changes, and even the challenges of recent years, Georgetown Outdoor Power has continued to serve generations of customers, many of whom have been with us for decades. This shop has always been more than a place to buy equipment; it has been a place built on trust, relationships, and showing up when people need you.

Today, Georgetown Outdoor Power is proudly woman‑run, carrying forward the legacy Bobby built while leading the business into its next chapter. We remain deeply rooted in our history, but we are also moving forward, adapting, improving, and doing things we’ve never done before to better serve our customers.

A major part of that continuity is our team.  Petey, James, and Eddy each have more than 20 years of experience, Bobby’s Grandson, Gabriel with 6 years of experience in parts   with this company Their loyalty, knowledge, and dedication are a direct reflection of the culture Bobby created, one where hard work matters and people are valued. Their experience ensures that when customers walk through our doors, they’re met by people who know the equipment, know the community, and care about getting the job done right.

While honoring our past, we are also expanding our future. We now offer a wider variety of financing options than ever before, making it easier for homeowners, landscapers, and professionals to get the equipment they need. We continue to grow our product lines, modernize our processes, and invest in better ways to support our customers, without losing the personal service that has defined us for over six decades.

Georgetown Outdoor Power stands as a living legacy to Bobby Jennings, the best man many of us ever knew, and to the community he served so faithfully. We are proud of where we come from, grateful to the customers who have stood by us, and committed to carrying this business forward for generations to come.
