ABOUT US

Georgetown Outdoor Power:
A Legacy of Trust and Growth

The Foundation: Built by Bobby Jennings (Since 1964)

The history of Georgetown Outdoor Power is rooted in an unwavering commitment to service. Our journey began in 1964 when Bobby Jennings, a U.S. Army veteran, founded Bobby Jennings Small Engine Repair. Starting as a modest shop, the business quickly became a trusted pillar of the Georgetown community, built entirely on Bobby’s reputation for honesty, hard work, and technical expertise. He set the gold standard for fixing anything with an engine. Over the decades, that foundation allowed the enterprise to successfully expand from a premier repair service into a full-scale, multi-line dealership, offering sales, service, and parts for the industry’s leading outdoor power equipment brands.

‌The New Era: Woman-Led and Multi-Generational Family
While we honor our past, we are firmly focused on the future. Today, Georgetown Outdoor Power remains proudly family-owned and operated under the dedicated, woman-led leadership of Annette Jennings, Bobby's wife and the current Owner. Annette has passionately carried forward her husband’s traditions, successfully instilling a modern vision that emphasizes accountability, professional training, and unparalleled customer care.
This business is truly a multi-generational family affair. Working alongside Annette are her daughters, Kelly Wallace (Controller) and Alicia Jenkins (Office Manager), along with her grandson, Gabriel Ramos (Sales). Further cementing the family's commitment are another daughter, Misty Wallace, and her son, Paul Rumley, who manage Inventory and Sales. This large family involvement ensures that the deep-rooted knowledge, the trusted methods of repair, and the community-first values established by Bobby are faithfully passed down and upheld every day.

Our Dedicated Team: Experience You Can Trust
The strength of Georgetown Outdoor Power is not only in its family but also in its dedicated long-term staff. Our ability to provide exceptional service is sustained by team members who have been with us for more than two decades, ensuring unmatched experience in the field. This includes Petey Peterson (Sales, Service), and the father-son Service and Repair team, Eddy Rohan and James Rohan. For over six decades, we have been woven into the fabric of Georgetown’s history, and our investment in these valued team members guarantees that this woman-led, family-focused business will remain your most trusted local resource for years to come.
